Storyline:
Tells the story of a man who became King George VI, father of Queen Elizabeth II. After his brother abdicates, subject to George (Bertie) reluctantly throne. Plagued by a dreaded tribe and considered unfit for a king, Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist Lionel Logue named. Through a series of unexpected techniques, and as a result a little friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country through war.
